I found the one about not wanting to date a woman who made more than half what he did interesting. I've always felt like I didn't want to date someone who earned significantly more than I do. If that was the only thing "wrong" with him, I wouldn't not date him just for that, but I guess I want to feel like I make an equal financial contribution to the relationship so that when we fight, he can't always throw it in my face that he makes more money.
And to the one whose gf wants to change him/her: It's good you're happy with how you are! Don't let anyone take that away from you. I've seen too many people try to change others, even done it myself, and never with good results.
